Whitby Wellbeing brings a wood-fired sauna to Mermaid Beach in Hornsea on selected Sunday mornings. The sauna parks above the beach in a quiet corner just south of the boat ramp, with a set of stairs down to the sand and parking in the gravel car park.
Sessions last about an hour and mix rounds in the sauna with optional dips in the sea, taken at your own risk. Bring a changing robe, a bag for your clothes and loose clothing for afterwards.
