The Hide Sauna is set in the woods at Houchins Farm in Coggeshall, a short drive from Colchester, Braintree and Kelvedon. It is a Scandinavian-style sauna with a panoramic window, running at 80 to 90°C.
The sauna holds up to ten. Community sessions are capped at eight and private bookings can take ten. Cooling down is by cold shower or plunge buckets. Guests must be 18 or over.
There are three private changing cubicles, a compost toilet and free parking on site. It opens Wednesday to Sunday, subject to booking, and private hire is arranged by email. Check the venue's website for prices.
