Thaxted Sauna Company runs a wood-fired mobile sauna for eight people, currently based at the Sauna Paddock in Thaxted and paired with a cold plunge. It offers one-hour communal sessions, private sessions of one or two hours and a monthly membership.
There is no car access to the site. It is reached on foot by public footpath, and the nearest car park is on Bardfield Road, next to the fire station. Changing is in a pop-up tent.
Under-16s are not allowed in the sauna or cold plunge, and under-18s must come with an adult. Check the venue's website for prices.
