The Old Stable Sauna is a wood-fired sauna next to The Old Stable Cafe on Mill Bay Road in East Portlemouth, above the Salcombe ferry landing. It looks over the harbour towards Snapes Point and Salcombe, and there is a cold plunge.
Communal sessions are for ages 16 and over, and local residents pay £12 per person. Private hire takes up to 10 people, and children aged six and over can attend private sessions with a parental waiver. A membership at £36 a month gives unlimited communal sessions. There are simple changing facilities.
The sauna runs on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Check the venue's website for the standard communal price and session times.
