Salty Sauna sits in the car park on Cliftonville Road in Pakefield, at the southern end of Lowestoft, a short walk from the beach. It describes itself as the most easterly sauna in the UK.
There are two custom-built, wood-fired saunas, each taking up to six people. One is run as a community sauna where you book a single seat, and the other can be booked for exclusive use. Cooling off means a dip in the sea at Pakefield beach.
A community seat is £15 for 60 minutes and a private session is £75. Sessions run on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings, and private hire at other times is by request. Booking is online.
