The Island Sauna is a traditional wood-fired barrel sauna at Black Barge Beach on Mulberry Avenue, Portland. It seats a maximum of eight people and guests can dip in the sea between rounds.
Communal sessions last an hour and cost £12.50, including Silent Sunday Mornings. Private hire for up to eight people costs £90 for an hour. The venue also lists bespoke sessions and a class called Swing, Stretch, Sweat.
From Monday to Thursday sessions start at 7:30am, 8:45am and 10am, and again at 5pm, 6:15pm and 7:30pm. It is open through the day on Fridays and at weekends. Changing facilities are available.
