Fellside Sauna Lingholm

Fellside Sauna runs wood-fired saunas at lakeside sites in the northern Lake District. This one is on the Lingholm Estate at Portinscale, on the shore of Derwentwater, and launched in November 2025. It is heated by a traditional Finnish log burner.

Sessions last one hour. Shared sessions seat five and private sessions take up to six. Guests cool off in the lake. There is a shed for storage and changing, toilets are in the estate cafe and parking is in the main Lingholm car park. The meeting point is the La'al Hut near the glasshouse.

Shared sessions are for ages 16 and over, swimwear is required and booking is needed. Availability varies week by week. Check the venue's website for prices.
